Scarprin is a silicone based scar removal treatment. Unlike other scar treatments, Scarprin does not contain additional additives such as sun block, skin moisturizers or onion extract. Essentially, the combination of silicones used in Scarprin is a gel version of silicone scar sheeting. This is important for two reasons. One is that those affected by a wide variety of scars such as Keloids will only need a small amount of gel to cover their scar. This means that scar gels are a more affordable way to benefit from the safety and effectiveness of using silicone to reduce the size, color, and pain associated with scars.
The second reason it is important to mention that using a silicone scar gel like Scarprin is beneficial is because the waterproof barrier formed over the scar is completely flexible and will naturally adhere to the body’s movement.
