I used to use Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser to wash my face at the end of the day and remove my eye makeup, but it usually didn’t succeed in removing all of my eye makeup. I don’t know if it’s my mascara or my eyeliner that’s being so tenacious but regardless, I’d rinse the cleanser off to reveal that I still had black smudgy makeup under my lower eyelids. Like the cleanser just pushed the makeup around rather than removing it. So I’d take the extra step of washing my eyes again and still I’d have to use a Q-Tip to try and gently swipe away at the black smudges afterwards.

This Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin removes my eye makeup from the start. Because of this, I imagine it does a better job of removing all my foundation makeup too which is important because I can be prone to breakouts if I’m not careful.

The Olay face wash is just as gentle, if not more than, Cetaphil’s Daily Cleanser. It’s my new favorite cleanser, and it’s cheaper than Cetaphil too. And, NO FRAGRANCE. Yes!

I think I have tried a hundred different facial soaps/washes/cleansers over my lifetime, but this one is my favorite. It honestly removes ALL makeup residue, leaves a very clean, smooth & soft feel to your skin, and does not overly dry. It is a perfect cleanser!

This cleanser is great year-around (in Boston). It cleans well, and levels out the moisture on my skin so it doesn’t get either flaky or oily. I have combination skin, so that’s unusual. It also cleans so well that I get fewer blemishes and clogged pores when I use it.

Great cleanser for sensitive somewhat oily skin

During the winter I usually use Cetaphil Facial Cleanser for sensitive skin. That works fine on my somewhat oily skin when it is dry, but once summer arrives I need something different to avoid breakouts and that shiny look. The Olay Foaming Face Wash for sensitive skin leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh, not dry and irritated the way facial soaps (which I tried) do. I plan to use it for the rest of the summer, which gets very warm and extremely humid here near the ocean. The price here on Amazon is a real buy at a 4 pack for $19 or so dollars compared to $8 plus at our local grocery store and drugstore.

This cleanser works great. It does not leave my skin too dry, but my skin still feels clean.
